WHO:	Rep. Danny K. Davis (D‑IL‑07), serving his 15th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, represents west, south, and north Chicago and inner‑west suburbs. From the cotton fields of Arkansas to the halls of Congress, Congressman Davis has lived a life rooted in purpose and public service. A former teacher, community health director, alderman, and Cook County Commissioner, Davis has spent his life giving voice to the voiceless and resources to the underserved. For over 27 years in Congress, he has authored landmark legislation, led national reentry reform, and fought to preserve programs like Social Security and Medicaid for working families. Now one of the most senior members of the House and Ranking Member of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Worker and Family Support, Congressman Davis will address the path ahead.
