Urban Transformation Network, Inc. (UTN), has changed the lives of many young people on the Westside of Chicago. It has been amazing seeing young people who usually eat take-out food, and hear gun shots, witness the miracle of vegetables growing in the urban gardens they help plant.

Urban Transformation Network, Inc. (UTN), has changed the lives of many young people and adults on the Westside of Chicago. It has been amazing seeing young people who usually eat take-out food, hear gunshots, and witness the miracle of vegetables growing in the urban gardens they help plant through UTN’s urban farming program.
UTN not only helps young people and adults to learn the benefits of nutrition through urban gardening, but while being climate-smart, the organization provides young people with an alternative to the crime that plaques the streets of Chicago. UTN is a 501 © 3 not-for-profit organization that is uniquely situated to change lives.
